Cath Kidston

I have been a long time lover of Cath Kidston fabrics and prints. I must, at one stage or another, accumulated most of the prints available. I love the jollity and fun of the fabric plus the colour combinations. Above all they are pretty. Most people can identify a Cath Kidston fabric; albeit the quirkiness, colour or pattern. Quirky ranges from prehistoric dinosaurs, London guards and cowboys/cowgirls to name but a few.

Obviously floral patterns feature heavily in the range too. My favourites must be the Provence Rose and the Button Spots ( I do love anything spotty!). I remember many years ago going to Ikea and buying the Rosalie blue and cream fabrics. I wish I had bought more of them as they are quite difficult to find now. I have recently discovered quite a few vintage prints on Etsy that I love. Even though it is Summer/Autumn, I couldn’t resist some Christmas vintage Cath fabric. I think I will either make it into bunting or Christmas tree decorations. Watch this space!!

It really is a joy to use Cath Kidston fabric. I seem to post a lot of orders to America and overseas. It still proves extremely popular. When I first opened my Etsy shop, one of the first items I made was a Cath Kidston pocket sewing organiser and over the years I have made various products including; storage bags, sunglasses cases, bunting, document wallets and credit card holders, to name but a few. At the moment, the Provence Rose bunting is undergoing a popularity surge!

Take a look at my Etsy shop where you will find lots of Cath Kidston handmade products and fabrics. Hopefully you will like what you see!
