February Valentine’s

Welcome to this Valentine’s theme inspired post! I love making bunting and my house and garden especially are decorated with lots of my own handmade bunting.  I spent a morning last week making some heart inspired bunting.  I have all sorts of bunting available in my Etsy shop, ranging from Cath Kidston to Snoopy!

I also do love making hanging decorations.  It is fun to experiment with different fabrics and shapes.  This hanging heart decoration is made with a lovely Cath Kidston Rosalie pink spot fabric.   Very vintage inspired!  The hearts are filled and are finshed with a pretty pink hanging ribbon and a pink bow which is handsewn on the heart.

It’s still not warm enough or even sunny enough to put my washing out in my North facing garden, although the sun is creeping ever nearer the house day by day!  I saw this gorgeous washing day fabric and couldn’t resist!  It is just perfect for a peg bag in the laundry or the garden.  The fabric features rows of washing hanging on a line, all on a pale pink background.  I just need the weather to warm up in order to use mine!

Make of the week are these Cath Kidston print grocery bag holders.  Featuring Cath Kidston Rosalie print fabric, sadly no longer available, they come in 3 different patterns. Choose from flowery blue, cream or pink spot. The carrier bag holders are elasticated at the bottom to stop your grocery bags from falling out.  To be honest, they are very functional but they also look pretty!

So even if you are not celebrating Valentine’s day, enjoy curling up in front of film with a lovely box of choccies!

Don’t forget these items are available from my Etsy and Ebay shops and are all handmade to order. If you would like a specific design or fabric, then please message me via Etsy.
