Sewing Bee is back!

Hurray! The Great British Sewing Bee is finally back on our screens in the UK. Every week we get to see fabulous creations and watch people have fun sewing. For me, it’s the creative process that I love. It also inspires me to put some time aside and make something for me for a change! Plus who wouldn’t want access to that haberdashery!

I first started my sewing journey by enrolling on a dress-making course and haven’t looked back since. Although I don’t have much time for making garments for myself, I always have some material and a pattern on standby!

I make quite a few of the Sewing Tidy and I like experimenting with different colours and fabrics too. Cath Kidston fabric is very popular as well as various sewing notions fabrics.

I also love making these traditional style needlecases and have a variety available. They are great for taking on holiday with you for those little projects and can be customised with a fabric of your choice.

I first started making these sewing pattern weights when I began dress-making. They are so fun to make as you can be creative with lots of different fabrics, plus of course, they are extremely useful whilst cutting out sewing patterns.

These are just a few of my sewing gifts that I have made over the years, as inspired by the Sewing Bee. They range from sewing pattern weights and sewing themed bunting to pocket sewing organisers and traditional style needlecases.

Everything is made handmade to order and is available from my Etsy shop. If you would like any of these products in different patterns and fabrics, then just message me on Etsy.

Many thanks for reading. x
