Sewing Snoopy

Welcome to Lizzyshomemade. Its finally February and I was hoping for some small glimpses of sunshine and some signs of Spring around the corner, however it just hasn’t stopped raining and every day seems to be extremely dark and grey. Hopefully Springtime isn’t too far away. I can see signs of growth in the garden. The snowdrops are out and the bulbs are pushing through the damp soil. All this winter weather gives me a good excuse to settle down and do some sewing, so it’s not all bad!

I wanted to focus on the adorable Snoopy fabric for this blog. I was a big fan of Snoopy growing up in the 1980’s and was delighted when the Snoopy film came out a few years ago so I could introduce my son to the delights of Snoopy, Charlie Brown and my absolute favourite, Peppermint Patty!

I now have a few different Snoopy fabrics. My particular favourite is Snoopy with a VW campervan. I have made bunting, pocket tissue holders and cosmetic bags. A recent addition is the fabric memoboard, criss-crossed with matching ribbon.

Don’t forget that these Snoopy items are available from my Ebay shop and are all handmade to order.  If you would like a specific design or fabric then please let me know via Ebay or Etsy conversations or send me a message!

What I’ve been up to.

Reading
: I am currently reading “The Ladies of Llanfair PG by L.K. Wilde. This is a very interesting novel, based on the setting up of the first Women’s Institute in Anglesey.

Watching:  Well, at the moment I am alternating between Emily in Paris and Bridgerton!

What I’m doing: Trying to improve my Welsh language skills!

I hope that you have found some lovely things to read, watch, make or do. I would love to know what you have been up to.
