Happy Retro Christmas!

As my followers will know I specialise in making crafty products from retro fabrics or anything just that little bit different!

I started on my Christmas shop early October after having sourced some lovely retro Father Christmas fabric from Doughtys in Hereford. Last year I used a similar fabric and could have sold many of the items ten times over, they were that popular. I think it’s the fact that the items I make are distinctive. I mean who wouldn’t want a pink heart shaped retro Christmas decoration on their tree!

Last year I sourced some great fabric from Hobbycraft in the form of fat quarters a lovely pink and blue retro reindeer print especially sold well.  Sadly I can’t seem to find that lovely fabric  I had so many queries asking me where I sourced it from!  I can’t find it anywhere online either!

This year I’ve concentrated on making Santa bags, albeit quite large ones ranging to small ones for little gifts!  I’ve also been making lots of pretty bunting as well as the retro Christmas tree decorations

I do admit to quite liking making bunting  its methodical and you get a quick return for your work  it’s a good choice to channel your inner creativity too!
