Coastal Vibes!

It has always been my ambition to live by the sea. I used to love seaside holidays when I was a child and it really hasn’t changed much since! Living in Birmingham means you really can’t get any further from the sea unfortunately! So when we do visit it seems extra special. My love of the coast is reflected in these lovely, distinctive fabrics, all showcasing a fun element of the seaside!

The coastal sunglasses cases are lined and padded throughout. They are all made to order as are most of my products.

I do love a good beach hut and these fabrics of sailing ships and beach huts really appealed to me. I have made them into grocery storage bags, which hang off a door handle and as well as serving a practical purpose, also look nice in your kitchen.

My latest favourite fabric takes on a tropical theme and features parrots. Pink parrots on a mid blue background to be precise! Available in either handmade bunting or a fun and quirky sunglasses case, these parrots are certainly a stand out!

Indeed, you can choose from flamingos, llamas and now parrots. All my favourite animals! All available as sunglasses cases.

Newly arrived is my Liberty of London sunglasses cases, All handmade from original Liberty of London fabrics, these delightful sunglasses holders are lined and padded and come in a variety of Liberty fabrics.

Don’t forget that these items are available from my Etsy shop and are all handmade to order.  If you would like a specific design or fabric then please let me know via Etsy conversations or send me a message!

What I’ve been up to.

Reading
: I am currently reading “The Jewel Keepers” by Sara Sheridan.
I absolutely love Sara Sheridan’s books. All steeped in Edinburgh and its history. They are a delight to read and you get immersed into the stories and lives of the characters.

WatchingThe second series of Death Valley. I loved the first series, especially for its nods to the Welsh language and the Welsh scenery. The second series doesn’t disappoint.

Doing: After just having spent a wonderful week in North Wales, i’m catching up with Etsy orders and enjoying pottering around the garden. Its that time of year when you can start to enjoy the early fruits of your work so I have been making quiches with eggs from the chickens and enjoying picking fresh herbs from my plot.

I hope that you have found some lovely things to read, watch, make or do. I would love to know what you have been up to.
